Storm surge earlier this year ripped up several sections of the planks and damaged railings along the marsh side. The town crews finished structural repairs, replaced compromised boards, and reinforced the footings so the boardwalk is safe for summer traffic again. Water access and viewing spots are fully open.
Storm damage hit the boardwalk hard this winter, but repairs are complete and the walkway is officially open again. New planks, reinforced supports, and safer railings mean you can get back out over the marsh for sunrise walks and evening photos.
